FMS73

Here are two more cards I made recently. The first follows sketch FMS73, the second was made using the supplies left over. The first card uses washi tape - the first time I've ever used it. So easy & fun! I 'designed' a few different versions...wonder if they will ever get made?! Saving the design photos, just in case... TFL!

Supplies: Spellbinders Nestibilities, The Paper Studio embossing folder, Sizzix Sizzlits, Fiskars border punch, 3bugsinarug and SEI dp, washi tape, SEI die cut, button, gems, ribbon from my stash

SC466

I knew once I started a blog I would find it difficult to post weekly, but I didn't think it would be so difficult to get in at least one a month! Crazy how fast time flies!! I had to make a birthday card for a friend and I wanted to follow one of the challenges on Splitcoaststampers. It's a bit tricky not doing something Christmas-themed, but I found that this sketch worked well (SC466). I made two cards, thinking it would take no time at all to duplicate a card....well, it is impossible for me to exactly duplicate anything, and for whatever reason, it still took me 45 minutes to make the 2nd card, even though all the supplies were out! Ah, but it was an enjoyable 45 minutes...I love my creative time!! TFL!

Supplies Used:
INK:  Tim Holtz Distress Inks (Barn Door for 1st Card, Peeled Paint for 2nd Card), Versafine Onyx Black for 2nd Card
STAMPS:  Hampton Art (Happy Birthday) and The Stamps Of Life (December's Club Members' Freebie)
PAPER:  SEI
OTHER: Copics, Bow Easy, Creative Memories Oval Templates, gems & ribbon from my stash

TV Star Card

Had time to make another card with the new tv2stamp set from The Stamps of Life. Such fun! Used SEI paper from a 'grab bag' pack I bought at the last scrapbook show I attended. Lots of fun papers to try out! I tried to only put a few (like three) stars in the background, but once I start, I just can't seem to stop! (The stars are from TSOL happyBday2you set). Enjoy & TFL!

A glittery wreath card

Today's card was supposed to be posted yesterday, for the Thursday Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. As is typical of me, I decided to try to enhance the embossed PEACE setntiment and I ruined it! Several tries later, I settled on a blue glittery PEACE. Loved that I could dig out old supplies I haven't touched in years. Paper is DCWV Winter Combo. Sentiment was embossed with an old stencil that surprisingly worked like a die in my Original Sizzix Machine. TFL!

tv2stamp Stay Tuned...

Today I created a card for the Wednesday Sketch Challenge at Splitcoaststampers (SC462) using the new tv2stamp set from The Stamps of Life. When I found the blue & grey funky striped paper, I knew I had to put that inside the TV. Found some other cool papers in my stash for this stamp set, but they will have to wait for another day. Stay tuned...
